After installation, your technician usually leaves the WiFi ready to use. If you need to reconnect or change settings, follow this guide.

What you need

  • Your AIO ONU / ONT (fiber unit)
  • A WiFi router (provided or your own)
  • An Ethernet cable
  • A phone or laptop to configure WiFi

Basic cabling

  1. Connect the fiber drop to the ONU (technician-installed).
  2. Run Ethernet from the ONU LAN port to the router WAN/Internet port.
  3. Power on the ONU first, then the router.

Set your WiFi name and password

Open the router admin page (often printed on a sticker under the router). Change the SSID to something you recognize and set a strong WPA2/WPA3 password. Avoid sharing the default password printed on the device.

Connect your devices

Join the new network on phones, TVs, and laptops. If a device still shows the old network, “forget” that network and reconnect.
