When the internet drops, a short checklist often restores service — or tells us exactly what to fix.

Check the lights

  • Power — ONU and router both powered on.
  • PON / LOS — steady PON is good; red or blinking LOS usually means a line issue.
  • WiFi — router WiFi light on; try a wired device if possible.

Power cycle in the right order

  1. Unplug ONU and router for 30 seconds.
  2. Plug in the ONU and wait 1–2 minutes.
  3. Plug in the router and wait for WiFi to come back.

Check cables and breakers

Confirm the Ethernet cable between ONU and router is seated. Check that the outlet or extension cord still has power.

Report it with useful details

Message support with your account name, address, contact number, and photos of the ONU lights. That helps us dispatch faster.
